My Dad spent most of his enlistment during WWII in Adak Alaska . I only heard him speak of it one time. It was the end of July 1976. looking back on that day, I feel like he knew where I was headed. This site is dedicated to him because he dedicated his life to me. The word Adak is from the Aleut word adaq, which means "father".
